The Farmhouse, Ley Farm

The Farmhouse, a 19th century stone house, comfortably sleeps eight guests and is perfect for families or groups seeking a relaxing countryside retreat. It has four spacious double bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and three with super-king sized sip-and-link beds that can be made up into twin beds on request. The cosy living area features a welcoming wood burner set in an original inglenook fireplace and a Smart TV, ideal for chilly evenings spent indoors. The kitchen – complete with a four-door aga – is fully equipped and has an adjoining dining area, providing everything needed for home-cooked meals. Three well-appointed bathrooms provide ample convenience for everyone, ensuring a stress-free stay. Large windows offer picturesque views of the surrounding countryside. The conservatory offers another opportunity to relax indoors while still retaining an outdoor feel.

The countryside setting offers numerous walking trails and opportunities for outdoor activities right at your doorstep with a popular dog-friendly pub in walking distance (1.1 miles). Located next to a small family-owned working farm, outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the large gardens that surround the Farmhouse, offering plenty of space for leisure and play. Whether you want to enjoy a morning coffee on the patio or under the covered terrace, have a picnic on the lawn, or simply take in the stunning views, the garden is a perfect spot to unwind.

All guests also have access to the communal games room and laundry in The New Barn, which includes a pool table and home entertainment system. You can find more details on “The New Barn” webpage, or on “Our Cottages” menu above.
