Ley Farm Cottages is perfectly situated to explore all sorts of places, from walks on your doorstep to beaches and historic houses a short drive away. The Jurassic Coast is just a short drive away with a number of different beaches, both shingle and sand, to explore. Lyme Regis and Charmouth are famous for their fossils, and most beaches also have a lovely coastal town to explore.

All these local places offer a fabulous food or drink experience and are within a short drive from Ley Farm Cottages. They range from small family-run businesses to high-end experiences.

There are several historic houses and estates, or gardens in the area surrounding Ley Farm Cottages. Several are National Trust properties, while others are privately owned. They are well worth a visit if you like to wander around these sort of locations – and most are dog friendly outside at least (and in the cafes). A couple even allow dogs inside.

If you want to explore the surrounding area a bit more, there are all sorts of attractions on offer. There are several family attractions including petting farms or animal parks, or smaller adventure parks with rides for children which are a great day out. Or if you prefer, there are more adult activities on offer such as skydiving and stock car racing. There are also a few nature reserves and gardens if you enjoy exploring these and looking at wildlife.
